Schlagwerk DC4002 Comparsa 35x25x23 cm

Product Description

The Schlagwerk Comparsa is a cajon with two playable surfaces: the front and rear heads each give a different sound, so you effectively get two instruments in one box. The front head has a brighter Quinto sound, while the rear head delivers strong bass. Its compact design makes it an easy companion for jamming or sessions in the park.

• Playable on both the front and rear side
• Bright playing surface with Quinto sound
• Dark playing surface with strong bass
• Playing surface in burl design veneer
• Compact and easy to carry

Sound Character

The front head gives a brighter, more defined Quinto sound suited to melodic percussion patterns. The rear head is tuned darker and produces noticeably stronger bass, letting you choose the character you need without switching instruments.

Construction

The body is built from hemlock, with a playing surface finished in burl design veneer. Three of the sides are treated with a special lacquer that gives a slightly roughened texture, making the cajon easier to grip and carry.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a cajon for jamming, spontaneous outdoor playing, or practicing at home, and you like having two distinct tonal characters available on one instrument.
