Schlagwerk CS12 Cajon Splash 12″
Splash cymbal (Cajon Splash) by Schlagwerk, 12", B20 bronze. Fast response and wide tonal range, even at soft playing levels.
Product Description
Schlagwerk's Cajon Splash is a hand-hammered splash cymbal in B20 bronze at 12", made to complement cajon playing with a fast, bright sound. Thanks to its low weight and excellent cross-section, the cymbal responds extremely quickly to the strike, with full sound development even when played softly.
- Extremely quick response and sound development
- Full sound development even when playing softly
- Large tonal range
- Works equally well played with hands, rods, brushes or sticks
The cymbal is hand hammered and made in Turkey from high-quality B20 bronze, the same alloy used in many of the industry's finest cymbals. Its low weight makes it especially well suited to being played directly with the hands, which is common among cajon players, but it also works well with rods, brushes or sticks for players who want to vary the tone.
Who It's For
Cajon Splash is a natural addition for cajon players who want a fast, cymbal-like accent in their playing, whether used alone or mounted together with other percussion instruments. The cymbal is also available in a 10-inch version for a brighter, even faster response.
