Schlagwerk CP540 Agile Base - Natural
Agile Base cajon in birch with a Gabon playing surface. Powerful attack, punchy bass and crisp slap tones.
Product Description
The Schlagwerk CP540 Agile Base is a cajon with a birch resonance box and a Gabon (Aucoumea klaineana) playing surface, built for a clear and highly responsive sound. It works equally well for punchy slap tones and full bass grooves, thanks to Schlagwerk's own Agile snare technique.
The fully bonded process of the Gabon playing surface delivers a lot of attack and supports slap sounds to stand out. This also leads to crisp high notes and a powerful bass, along with clear but not too dry separation between snare and bass. The Gabon surface complements the birch body perfectly across the frequency range.
The resonance box is built from 8 layers of birch, and the cajon uses Schlagwerk's Agile snare technique for a fast, sensitive response. Premium components are used throughout for the best possible sound and quality, and the cajon has a pleasant haptic feel to play.
