Sound Character
The Zebrano playing surface delivers fine, concrete upper tones, while the Gabon resonance box provides warm, full bass. Together they make this cajon genuinely versatile, suited to both bass-driven grooves and more nuanced playing.
Construction
The resonance box is built from 7 layers of Gabon (Aucoumea klaineana), a wood known for its resonance. The playing surface is finished with Zebrano design veneer. The cajon features 2 x 2 La Perù snare strings, giving the sound its characteristic snare buzz.
