Schlagwerk Claves - Acacia
Handmade claves in acacia wood with a warm, soft tone. The rhythmic backbone of son, rumba, salsa and bossa nova.
Product Description
Claves belong in every percussionist's setup. Whether because of their simplicity or despite it, these acacia wood claves from Schlagwerk provide the basic rhythmic framework for numerous styles of Latin American music, from son, rumba and salsa to bossa nova.
There's not much to master technically, but in the right hands claves become the pulse that holds an entire ensemble together. That's exactly why they show up again and again, whether in the studio or on stage in a Latin setting.
