Schlagwerk Shiva Shakti
Schlagwerk's Shiva Shakti windchimes, 80 cm anodized aluminium. Warm, round tones in G# and B with matching fifths and octaves.
Product Description
Shiva Shakti is a set of windchimes from Schlagwerk measuring 80 cm, built from nature-anodized aluminium tubes. The tubes are tuned in two tonic notes a third apart, approximately equal to G# and B in the western scale, together with their corresponding fifths and octaves. The result is a round, warm tone that fuses into long, melodious harmonies.
Sound and tuning
The name Shiva Shakti refers to the union of the planetary tones of the sun and the moon, as calculated by mathematician Hans Cousto. The tubes are tuned according to Cousto with precise, constant tuning, giving a long-lasting sound rather than one that shifts with the weather. The notes blend into open, melodious harmonies with long sustain.
Build
The tubes are made from nature-anodized aluminium and assembled with premium components chosen for the best possible sound and lasting quality, indoors or out.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want a meditative, tonal windchime rather than a traditional bright, jingling one, for the balcony, garden or indoors.
