Schlagwerk 60D85 Log Drum D-Moll Pentatonic

Product Description

The Schlagwerk 60D85 is a log drum tuned to a D-minor pentatonic scale with 8 tones. The pentatonic tuning means every note works together, so you can play freely without worrying about hitting a wrong tone. Great for beginners and experienced percussionists alike.

The 60D85 provides brilliantly clear, open and inspiring sound options thanks to its D-minor pentatonic tuning. Because the tone plates are built into the body rather than loose, you get pure, unrestrained playing pleasure without ever worrying about dropping or misplacing a tone plate.

Construction

The playing surface is made from padouk (Pterocarpus soyauxii), while the resonance box is built from solid alder (Alnus). Together these premium components deliver the best possible sound and quality.

Tuning

The log drum offers 8 tones in a D-minor pentatonic tuning: d. F. G. A. C'. D'. F'. G'. The pentatonic layout makes the instrument intuitive to play. You can improvise freely without striking a wrong note.

Dimensions

Measurements are approx. 60 x 20 x 18 cm.

Recommended Mallets

Schlagwerk recommends the MA102 and MA103 mallet models for the best sound.
