Sabian HHX Performance Set Cymbal - Brilliant Finish
SABIAN HHX Performance Set, Brilliant Finish. Thinner, darker crashes and a ride that doubles as a crash.
Product Description
The SABIAN HHX Performance Set with Brilliant Finish is a complete cymbal set featuring 14" hi-hats, 16" and 18" thin crashes and a 21" thin ride. The set introduces a new design to the HHX line, producing cymbals that are thinner, darker and faster than the HHX Studio, Stage and Power models they replace. A versatile choice that easily crosses musical styles.
The build starts with a round of sparse hammering, followed by lathing, then denser HHX hammering over the top. The result is a line of cymbals that trend thinner, darker and faster in response. The crashes and ride feature a smaller bell, ensuring a faster attack and lighter overall weight.
What's Included
- 16" and 18" Thin Crashes. Thinner, darker and faster
- 21" Thin Ride. Also doubles as a shimmering big crash
- 14" Medium Hi-Hats. Larger bell for boosted volume and power
Who It's For
The combination of hammering and lathing techniques makes this set highly versatile, easily crossing musical styles thanks to the balance between dark tone and fast response.
