Product Description
The 22" HHX Complex Medium Ride is part of Sabian's HHX Complex line, a series known for its exquisitely dark tone. The cymbal combines HH and HHX hammering with a raw hammered bell, resulting in one of the richest, sweetest ride cymbals Sabian has ever produced.
- HHX Complex is a new line of exquisitely dark cymbals
- One of the richest, sweetest rides Sabian has ever produced
- Big and over-hammered, with a low, complex tone
- Versatility that easily crosses musical styles
Tone and Construction
The 22" Complex Medium Ride is big, thin and dark, with a medium-size hand-hammered raw bell. The combination of HH and HHX hammering, along with a number of Sabian's proprietary techniques, brings out the lows and complexities of this cymbal's tone. The bell is left raw and hand-hammered, giving a clear stick definition on top of the dark underlying tone.
Who It's For
The versatility to easily cross musical styles has always been a hallmark of the HHX line, and the 22" HHX Complex Medium Ride is no exception. It suits players who want a big ride cymbal with a dark, rich tone and plenty of room for dynamics across musical contexts.
