Sound Character

The HHX Evolution line is known for its clarity and sense of air and atmosphere. This 19" crash delivers a warm, explosive sound with fast, shimmering response for increased projection and cut. It maintains the bite and penetration of high-end attack while retaining the warmth of a darker undertone. There is notable separation between the bright high end and the warm low end, giving a high-fidelity sound that is both warm and cool at once. Retaining the low end, brightening the highs, and increasing sensitivity is what defines HHX Evolution.

Playing Feel

The buttery soft feel means the cymbal responds to the slightest touch, making it extremely easy to play even at the lowest volumes, while still putting out its full sound at any dynamic level.
