19" Sabian AAX Crystal Thin Crash Cymbal - Hybrid Brilliant
19" AAX Crystal Thin Crash by Sabian. Bright attack, added projection and cut.
Product Description
The 19" AAX Crystal Thin Crash is Sabian's thin AAX crash finished in a hybrid brilliant finish that delivers a sharper "crystal" attack. The combination of high polish buffing and added lathing raises the high-frequency content of the attack, giving the cymbal more projection while keeping the open AAX character.
Sound and attack
Through an extensive development process, Sabian discovered that combining high polish buffing with added lathing creates an extra "punch" in the bright "crystal" attack of this design. Applied to the popular AAX Thin Crash models, it delivers a higher frequency attack that appeals to drummers who want added projection and cut in a modern-sounding cymbal.
