Product Description
An 18" effects crash from Sabian's XSR series, cast in B20 bronze and built with the proven double-ring O-Zone hole design from the B8 Pro line. Applied to a B20 cast cymbal for the first time. The result is a darker, quicker effects crash with more white noise and a purer attack.
Starting point is the 18" XSR Fast Crash, but the two rows of eight response-enhancing holes (16 holes in total) give this cymbal its own radical character. It responds rapidly, combining a bright explosion with dirty, low-end agitation. The attack stays even throughout, while still coming across as aggressive, raw and nasty. A great choice if you want a distinct, edgy effects layer in your setup.
The 18" XSR O-Zone also makes an ideal stacker over an 18" XSR Chinese, opening up further layered sound options.
