18" Sabian Paragon Crash Cymbal - Brilliant Finish

Product Description

The Sabian Paragon Crash 18" is a medium-weight cymbal with a large, volume-boosting bell that delivers fast, explosive responses. Handcrafted from pure B20 bronze, it combines sound-defining features from the AA, AAX, and HH series with AA-style hammering for a powerful, dynamic sound in a subtle, blank-polished Brilliant Finish.

• Fast, explosive response thanks to its medium weight and large bell
• Handcrafted from pure SABIAN B20 bronze
• AA-style hammering with features drawn from AA, AAX, and HH
• Dynamically responsive and durable across a wide range of musical settings

Sound and Feel

The large bell adds extra volume and lets the attack build quickly into a powerful crash. The mix of AA-style hammering and details from several Sabian series gives the cymbal a dynamic, musical character rather than a one-dimensional sound, responding well to both light and heavy strokes.

Design and Background

The Paragon series was designed together with Rush drummer Neil Peart to create a closer relationship between power and musicality. It was built primarily for rock playing but is flexible enough for most other musical applications.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a powerful, fast-responding crash with a subtle finish, whether you play rock or need a versatile cymbal across several genres.

The cymbal is covered by SABIAN's Two-Year Warranty.
