18" Sabian HHX Thin Crash Cymbal
18" HHX Thin Crash from Sabian with a smaller bell and a thin, dark tone. Fast attack, versatile across styles.
Product Description
The HHX Thin Crash 18" introduces a whole new design to Sabian's HHX line. It's thinner, darker and faster than the HHX Studio Crashes it replaces, with a smaller bell that ensures a faster attack and a lighter weight than most thin crashes in its class.
- Thinner, darker, faster. A whole new design in HHX
- Two styles of hammering for rich, warm tone
- A versatile crash that easily crosses musical styles
- Quality protected by SABIAN two-year warranty
Construction starts with a round of sparse hammering, followed by lathing, then denser HHX hammering over top. The result is a crash cymbal with a shimmering, dark tone that responds faster than its predecessors thanks to the smaller bell. Versatility across musical styles has always been a hallmark of the HHX line, and the 18" Thin Crash is no exception. A great choice if you're seeking a small, thin crash with shimmering dark tone.
