18" Sabian Artisan Traditional Symphonic Medium Heavy Cymbal 2 Pairs
Sabian Artisan Traditional Symphonic Medium Heavy pair, 18". Rich, warm tone with clear articulation for orchestral playing.
Product Description
The Sabian Artisan Traditional Symphonic Medium Heavy is an 18" pair of hand cymbals built for orchestral and symphonic use. They respond quickly with a rich, warm tone and clear articulation, making them ideal for playing rhythmic passages at soft to loud dynamic levels.
These pairs are a very popular choice for orchestral excerpts and auditions. Inspired by leading percussionists looking to replace aging orchestral models, the Artisan line improved upon original, century-old cymbals to become the benchmark by which all hand cymbals are measured.
Artisan hand cymbals are available in Medium Light and Medium Heavy weights, in sizes from 16" to 20". The design combines traditional high-density hand hammering with modern jumbo-peen dimpling on the underside, producing a cymbal suited to performing almost any repertoire. Compared to Medium Light pairs, Medium Heavy pairs respond a little slower but offer a fuller, less splashy character.
- High-density hand hammering creates the Artisan's legendary, "centuries-old" sound
- Individually hand hammered and crafted by master Sabian artisans
- Easy to play
- Quality protected by Sabian's Two-Year Warranty
