17" Sabian AAX Thin Crash Cymbal - Brilliant Finish
Thin 17" AAX crash with a raw bell and Brilliant Finish. Fast response, complex and slightly darker with brighter highs.
Product Description
The SABIAN AAX Thin Crash 17" brings a new sound palette to the AAX line, finished in Brilliant Finish. The small raw bell delivers fast response, and a new style of hammering makes the crash thinner, more complex and slightly darker, while adding more highs for a wider frequency range. A great choice if you want a fast, versatile crash with added tonal complexity.
- Answers the call for thinner, complex crashes with added versatility
- Small, raw bell delivers faster response
- Additional hammering means brighter highs and more complex lows
- A whole new design for SABIAN AAX Crashes
- Quality protected with SABIAN two-year warranty
Sound and Construction
The hammering uses a larger, rounder peen, making the pattern much more visible on the cymbal's surface than on previous AAX crashes. This results in a thinner, more complex crash with a slightly darker character, while more highs are introduced into the sound. The outcome is a wider frequency band: brighter highs and more complex lows.
