17" Sabian Artisan Traditional Symphonic Medium Light Cymbal 2 Pairs

Product Description

Sabian Artisan 17" Medium Light is a pair of orchestral hand cymbals built on traditional high-density hand hammering. They respond quickly with a rich, warm tone and work equally well at soft and loud dynamics.

Compared to Artisan Medium Heavy, this pair has a splashier quality and shorter sustain. Their size makes them ideal for marches and for use as an attached cymbal with a bass drum.

Artisan Medium Light pairs are a very popular choice for playing orchestral excerpts and auditions. Inspired by leading percussionists looking to replace aging orchestral models, Artisan pairs improved upon original, century-old cymbals to become the benchmark by which all hand cymbals are measured.

Construction

SABIAN Artisan hand cymbals combine traditional high-density hand hammering with modern jumbo-peen dimpling on the underside, producing a design ideal for performing any repertoire. Each pair is individually hand hammered and crafted by master SABIAN artisans.

• High-density hand hammering is used to create the Artisan's legendary, "centuries-old" sound
• Individually hand hammered and crafted by master SABIAN artisans
• Easy to play
• Quality protected by SABIAN One-Year Warranty

Who It's For

A great choice for orchestral players and percussionists who need hand cymbals for symphonic repertoire, marches, or bass drum mounting. Also available in Medium Heavy for longer sustain and a less splashy character.
