16" Sabian AAX Medium Crash Cymbal
16" AAX Medium Crash from Sabian with a raw bell. Complex, slightly darker tone with brighter highs.
Product Description
The AAX Medium Crash 16" is a new crash cymbal in Sabian's AAX line, featuring a larger raw bell and a new hammering style that adds complexity to the sound. It suits players who want depth combined with brighter highs, plus a fast response on impact.
- Wider frequency range with brighter highs and more complex lows
- Raw bell delivers faster response
- New hammering pattern, clearly visible thanks to a larger, rounder peen
- A whole new design within SABIAN's AAX Crashes
- Protected by SABIAN's two-year warranty
The larger raw bell adds more meat to the sound and improves projection. A whole new style of hammering, using a larger and rounder peen, is much more visible on the surface of the cymbal and results in a more complex, slightly darker crash. At the same time, more highs are introduced into the sound, giving a wider frequency band overall. For drummers, that means brighter highs paired with more complex lows, answering the call for thinner, more complex crashes with added versatility.
