16" Sabian HHX Thin Crash Cymbal
Sabian HHX Thin Crash 16". Thinner, darker and faster with a smaller bell for a snappy attack.
Product Description
The Sabian HHX Thin Crash 16" introduces a whole new design to the HHX line: thinner, darker and faster than the HHX Studio Crashes it replaces. A smaller bell ensures a faster attack, and the cymbal trends lighter in weight than most thin crashes. The result is a shimmering, dark-toned crash with the versatility to easily cross musical styles.
- Thinner, darker, faster. A whole new design in HHX
- Two styles of hammering for rich, warm tone
- A versatile crash that easily crosses musical styles
- Quality protected by SABIAN two-year warranty
Construction and Tone
The cymbal starts with a round of sparse hammering, followed by lathing, then a denser round of HHX hammering on top. The result is a crash cymbal that is thinner, darker and faster than the HHX Studio Crashes it replaces, with a rich, warm tone from the two styles of hammering. The smaller bell contributes to a faster attack and a lighter weight than most other thin crashes.
Who It's For
A great choice if you're seeking a small, thin crash with shimmering dark tone and the versatility to cross musical styles with ease.
