Product Description
The SABIAN Artisan 16" Medium Light is a pair of orchestral hand cymbals with a rich, warm tone and quick response. They're ideal for playing with very soft to moderate dynamics, making them a popular choice for orchestral excerpts at low volume.
Compared to the Artisan Medium Heavy pair, the Medium Light pair has a splashier quality and shorter sustain, giving players more control in quiet passages. Their size also makes them well suited for marches and for use as an attached cymbal on a bass drum.
Construction
Artisan hand cymbals combine traditional high-density hand hammering with modern jumbo-peen dimpling on the underside, a combination that produces the Artisan's legendary, centuries-old sound. Each pair is individually hand hammered and crafted by master SABIAN artisans.
The Artisan line is available in Medium Light and Medium Heavy weights, in sizes from 16" through 20", covering a wide range of orchestral repertoire.
