14" Sabian HHX Thin Crash Cymbal
14" HHX Thin Crash from Sabian, thin and dark with a fast attack. Versatile crash for many styles.
Product Description
The Sabian HHX Thin Crash 14" is a thin, dark, fast-speaking crash cymbal introducing a whole new design to the HHX line. It's a great choice if you're after a small, thin crash with shimmering dark tone that works across musical styles.
- Thinner, darker, faster. A whole new design in HHX
- Two styles of hammering for rich, warm tone
- A versatile crash that easily crosses musical styles
- Quality protected by SABIAN two-year warranty
The cymbal starts with a round of sparse hammering, followed by lathing, then denser HHX hammering over the top. The result is a crash cymbal that's thinner, darker and faster than the HHX Studio Crashes it replaces. A smaller bell ensures a faster attack and keeps the cymbal lighter in weight than most thin crashes.
Tone and Feel
The two styles of hammering give a rich, warm tone, while the smaller bell contributes to a fast, clear attack. The versatility to easily cross musical styles has always been a hallmark of the HHX line, and this 14" Thin Crash is no exception.
