10" Sabian AAX Aero Splash Cymbal

Product Description

The AAX Aero Splash is a 10" splash cymbal from Sabian's AAX line, built with a multiple small-hole pattern that gives it a bright, fast sound with pronounced high-end cut. It's a great choice if you want an effect cymbal that blends musical character with airy white noise, rather than a purely trashy splash.

• The perfect blend of musical effect and white noise trash
• Decays more naturally than SABIAN's O-Zone Splash
• Delivers a higher density of white noise concentration than the AAX Air Splash, thanks to its small-hole pattern
• All about high-end cut, with a musical decay
• Protected by SABIAN's Two-Year Warranty

Sound character

The Aero Splash sits in the center of the white noise spectrum: between the AAX O-Zone Splash, which is pure white noise, and the AAX Air Splash, which leans further toward the tonal end. That places it right where many drummers want an effect cymbal. Musical enough to sit in a phrase, but still delivering that airy trash sound that cuts through a mix.

Who it's for

A solid pick if you want an effect splash with a bit more body and musicality than a fully trashy option, while keeping the fast attack and high-end cut that makes it heard clearly in the mix.
