Product Description
The Roland V71 is the central hub of the V-Drums 7 Series, a fully reimagined drum module built around a newly recorded, multi-sampled sound library developed with Drum Workshop (DW). It delivers studio-grade realism and flexibility for both recording and live use.
Newly recorded sound library
The V71 includes 200 drum kits (more than 70 presets) and over 1000 instruments. Sounds use round-robin randomisation and multi-sampled layers for a natural, staccato-free feel, refined further with Roland's behavior modeling technology.
Expandable via Roland Cloud
The Roland Cloud Connect app lets you wirelessly download new kits, sounds and Instrument Expansions, and supports DW Soundworks software for computer-based drumming. A six-month Roland Cloud Ultimate membership is included, and Bluetooth support enables wireless audio streaming and MIDI recording to a phone or computer.
Editing and processing
Enhanced V-Edit tools let you adjust head type, tuning, damping and mic placement on every drum and cymbal, much like an acoustic kit. Studio-grade EQ, compressors and convolution-based reverb can be applied per sound or across the whole kit. You can also import your own samples, up to 500 user samples, with up to three layers per pad to blend internal and external sounds.
Connectivity
The V71 offers balanced XLR and 1/4-inch outputs, three digital trigger inputs and 14 analog inputs for V-Pads, plus USB-C for multi-channel audio and MIDI.
