Roland TDM-10
Product Description
The Roland TDM-10 is a drum mat that keeps your electronic drum kit from creeping across the floor while cutting down on the vibration that otherwise travels through the floor and into the rest of the house. It's sized for medium electronic kits such as the TD-11K, making practice sessions less disruptive for everyone around you.
Two common issues with electronic kits are that they slowly slide around while you play, risking scratches on the floor, and that vibrations from the kit, especially from the kick pedal, spread as low thuds through the building. The TDM-10 is built from three layers – nylon fiber, felt and a soft urethane layer – that together absorb sound and impact while giving you a stable surface to play on.
Pedal and trigger fastening
The mat has hook-and-loop (Velcro) fastening points where you can secure the kick trigger or bass drum pedal, keeping it in place even during heavy pedal work. The material is also rated as non-flammable, which is reassuring given its proximity to electronics and cables. The mat carries Roland's V-Drums logo.
Who It's For
A good match if you have a medium-sized electronic kit, such as the Roland TD-11K, and want to stop it from sliding while keeping the noise down for the neighbors. Note that the drums shown in the product photo are only there to illustrate scale – they are not included with the mat.
