Product Description
The Roland DP-2 is a momentary footswitch built for non-latch operations, such as sustaining notes on an electronic keyboard. It can also be used for punch in/out on Roland and BOSS recording gear.
Because the switch is momentary, the function is only active while you keep the pedal pressed down. Release it and it returns straight to its normal position, which makes it well suited to sustain duties on a keyboard, where you want to hold a note for exactly as long as you choose.
On Roland and BOSS recording equipment, the DP-2 can also be used for punch in/out, letting you start and stop recording with your foot without taking your hands off the instrument.
