The Rogers DynaSonic 14x6.5" is an American classic reborn. A handbuilt wood shell snare from the Rogers USA Workshop, offered in a limited run with Beavertail lugs. At its heart sits Rogers' legendary floating Snare Rail System, giving a feel and control over snare response that no other design has matched.

Construction

The shell is built to Rogers' proprietary 5-ply formula in maple and poplar with reinforcement rings, in the standard 14x6.5" concert depth. Hoops are 1.6mm triple-flanged on both batter and snare side, with snare gates cut for the snare wires. The ten Beavertail lugs are double-sided die-cast, and the butt end is a matching clock-face design.

Strainer system

The strainer is a Swivo-matic (clock face style) unit controlling an adjustable 20-strand snare wire set mounted in the floating rail system. A design unique to the DynaSonic series that gives the drum its signature, sensitive response.

Finish and badges

The shell finish is Blue Onyx with a fruitwood interior stain, and the drum carries a Rogers script logo badge along with an oval Dyna-Sonic "Custom Built" badge.
