Rogers Drums USA Powertone - Satin Natural
The Rogers Powertone 14"x8" is a wood shell snare drum built to hold its own in any musical setting. Its 5-ply Maple-Poplar shell with Rogers' proprietary reinforcement rings delivers a wide-open, woody tone with plenty of dynamic range. From a whisper to a scream. This model comes in the Satin Natural finish.
- 5-ply Maple-Poplar shell with 2-ply reinforcement rings for a wide-open, woody tone
- 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops for stable tuning and a crisp attack
- Beavertail die-cast lugs give the drum its classic Rogers look and sturdy build
- Clock Face throw-off for smooth, reliable snare engagement
- Remo USA batter and UT snare-side heads fitted from the factory
Tone
The Maple-Poplar shell combination is what gives the Powertone its voice: a broad, woody tone that works equally well in the rehearsal room, on stage, and in the studio. The triple-flanged hoops add a crisp attack without losing warmth.
Construction
The die-cast Beavertail lugs give the drum a rugged, classic look that echoes Rogers' historic models. The Clock Face throw-off makes it quick and easy to engage or disengage the snare wires between songs.
Who It's For
The Powertone is a good choice if you want a versatile snare that can handle just about anything without compromising on tone.
