Product Description
The Rogers Powertone is a classic wood snare drum engineered for exceptional tone and dynamic response. Built with Rogers' proprietary 5-ply maple-poplar shell and 2-ply reinforcement ring design, it delivers a wide-open, woody tone at home in any musical situation. This version comes in 14x5" with a Piano Black Gloss finish.
Construction
The shell is 5-ply maple-poplar with 2-ply reinforcement rings, the design behind Powertone's signature wide-open woody tone. Hoops are 2.3mm triple flanged with 8 lug holes. The drum features 10 die-cast Beavertail lugs, a Clock Face throw-off, and the classic Powertone badge.
Heads
Powertone ships with Remo USA heads: a batter head on top and a UT snare-side head underneath, chosen to deliver clear response and good snare sensitivity right out of the box.
