The Rogers Dynasonic 14x6.5" is a hand-built, concert-depth snare drum featuring the floating snare rail system that made the Dyna-Sonic series legendary. This special-run model extends the celebrated Fruitwood Stain finish, normally reserved for the shell interior, to the exterior maple shell as well, giving the natural wood grain remarkable depth and warmth.

Construction and Tone

The shell is built from Rogers' proprietary 5-ply maple/poplar formula with reinforcement rings, giving the drum its characteristic resonance and tuning stability. The hoops are 1.6mm triple-flanged with snare gates, mounted with 10 die-cast Beavertail lugs. The snare wires are an adjustable 20-strand set housed in the exclusive floating snare rail system, delivering the Dyna-Sonic's signature sensitivity and crisp attack. The strainer is a Swivo-matic (clock face) style throw-off with a matching clock face butt end.

Finish and Details

The Fruitwood Stain finish is one of the Dyna-Sonic series' most celebrated hallmarks, normally kept to the shell interior. This special edition extends it across the exterior maple shell, highlighting the natural wood grain with a depth and warmth rarely seen on lacquered or wrapped shells. The finish is high gloss. The drum carries Rogers' classic script logo badge along with the Dyna-Sonic series' oval "Custom Built" badge.
