Heavy Rock EZX

Product Description

Heavy Rock EZX is a sound expansion from Toontrack for EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3, built for hard-hitting, forward-sitting rock drums. It delivers four unique kits plus several extra snares, recorded and programmed to hold down the rhythm section in demanding mixes.

The sounds were recorded by mixer/producer Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Anthrax, The Donnas) and sampled by drummer Jeff Friedl (A Perfect Circle, Devo, Filter) at a private, high-end studio in the Los Angeles area. The room is big and powerful without becoming overpowering, making this expansion a strong choice for rock productions that need to sound huge without drowning in ambience.

In total, five recorded kit configurations are included, each with its own tone and vibe: from rich, dark and boomy to ringy, tight and snappy. The extra snares broaden the tonal range even further.
