RhymBlock w/RhymClips 6"

Product Description

The RhymBlock is a 6" solid maple woodblock from Native Tongue Percussion that mounts directly onto your drum hoop using the patented RhymClips mounting system. It delivers a powerful, high-pitched natural woodblock tone and opens up cross-sticking, rimshots, ghost noting and interplay with the drum, with no stand or extra hardware needed. The package includes both the RhymBlock woodblock and the RhymClips mount with interchangeable adapter boots.

• Woodblock made of high-quality natural solid maple hardwood, 6"
• Powerful, high-pitched natural woodblock tone
• Patented durable design with side slit reinforcement plates for hard play and longevity
• Pre-installed Edge Guard to protect the striking edge from wear and tear
• Symmetrically shaped to contour and mount onto snare, tom, timbale and hand drum hoops
• Mounts with RhymClips, no stands or additional hardware required

Construction and Mounting

The woodblock is symmetrically shaped to contour to the hoop. RhymClips are constructed from lightweight, durable reinforced nylon, helping protect your drums from the damage often caused by metal mounting systems. The clips include interchangeable adapter boots that fit a variety of hoop types: triple flange and cast hoops on snare, tom and timbale, as well as traditional, curved and rope-tuned hoops on hand drums. Height is freely adjustable at or above the hoop, making it easy to dial in an ideal cross-stick position.

Playing Feel

Since the RhymBlock can be positioned anywhere unobstructed around the drum, it works equally well for fixed rhythm patterns and for free interplay between drum and block.

Who It's For

A great fit for drummers and percussionists who want to expand the tonal palette of their existing kit or hand drum without adding a separate stand.
