Thunder Tube 2"x7" - Starry Night

Product Description

The Remo Thunder Tube is the original sound effect drum. A simple but strikingly effective instrument that produces a thunder-like sound when shaken. Built with an Acousticon shell, a fixed internal spring and a Fiberskyn drumhead, it delivers a classic, raw sound effect suited for the stage, film, theatre and play.

Inside the tube sits a fixed spring that starts vibrating as soon as you shake the tube. The vibrations are picked up by the drumhead and amplified into a low, rolling sound reminiscent of distant thunder building up. The more you move the tube, the more intense the sound becomes.

This version features the distinctive Starry Night graphic, a bold, explosive design that makes the tube as fun to look at as it is to play.

The Thunder Tube is ideal for recreational use and play, but also works great as a sound effect in theatre productions, film production and other settings where a thunder-like atmosphere is wanted.
