Remo Sub Muff'l Bass Drum System 22"
External damping system for 22" bass drum heads by Remo. Fuller bass and more attack, no dead tone.
Product Description
The Sub Muff'l® Bass Drum System is an external damping accessory for bass drum heads from Remo, sized 22". It offers a floating design that fits any head without built-in damping, delivering fuller bass and increased attack without robbing the head of its frequency response.
The system consists of an outer plastic profile paired with durable foam damping inserts. This construction keeps the head in full contact with the drum's bearing edge/hoop, unlike glued-on damping rings that often alter the head's frequency response. The result is reinforced bass and increased attack while the head and hoop retain their natural sound level.
Who It's For
A great choice if you play live or in the studio and want control over your bass drum's tone without losing fullness or attack. Works with any bass drum head that lacks its own external damping.
