Remo Sub Muff'l Bass 20"
Remo Sub Muff'l Bass external damping system, 20". Boosts bass response and attack without robbing the head or shell of volume.
Product Description
Sub Muff'l Bass is Remo's external damping system for bass drum, 20", featuring a floating design that is never glued to the head. It fits any bass drum head without built-in muffling and delivers enhanced bass response and increased attack, without robbing the head or shell of its sound level.
The system is built from an outer plastic profile fitted with durable foam damping inserts. This construction keeps the head in full contact with the bearing edge, allowing the head and shell to retain their sound level while bass response is boosted and attack is increased. Frequency response isn't negatively affected, which is often the case with glued-on muffling rings.
Thanks to its floating design, Sub Muff'l Bass works equally well in the studio and on stage, for players who want control over their bass drum sound without sacrificing volume or tone character.
