15" Remo Powerstroke 3 Clear Dot - Coated

Product Description

The Remo Powerstroke 3 Coated 15" Clear Dot is a drum head built for controlled tone and steady response. A thin underlay at the outer edge subtly dampens high frequency overtones, while a clear reinforcement dot at the center adds durability without altering the head's natural tone.

The Coated Powerstroke® 3 features a thin underlay at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen high frequency overtones. This creates a near-perfect balance of response and tone control that has quickly made Powerstroke 3 one of Remo's most preferred drumheads.

The Clear Dot version keeps the head's natural coloration while adding extra durability at the strike zone, unlike a white dot which tends to color the tone more noticeably.

Sound and Feel

The coated surface gives a warm, slightly muted tone compared to clear versions, with good stick and brush feel. The edge dampening makes tuning more predictable by reducing unwanted overtones.

Who It's For

A solid choice if you want a tom head that needs little extra muffling but still delivers control and clarity, whether in the studio or at rehearsal.
