Product Description
The Pinstripe Ebony is a 20" bass drum head from Remo, finished in dark Ebony and built from two Mylar plies (10- and 5-mil) with a ring reducing agent applied between them at the outer edge of the trademark stripe. The result is warm resonance and quick decay, giving you the fat, full low end favored in Rock and R&B.
The ring reducing agent sits precisely at the outer edge of the stripe, damping high frequency overtones so the head resonates warmly rather than ringing. Combined with the two-ply Mylar construction, this gives the head its quick decay along with moderate attack and response characteristics.
