Product Description
The Remo Emperor Suede 13" is a two-ply drum head built from two free-floating, proprietary processed plies of 7.5-mil Mylar film. This construction delivers a consistently open, warm tone along with noticeably enhanced durability compared to single-ply heads.
Because the two plies float freely against each other rather than being bonded across the surface, the head retains the Emperor series' signature sound: full and warm, yet still open and responsive. The Suede coating gives the head its distinctive feel and surface texture.
The two-ply build lets the head handle heavier playing without losing tone, making it a solid choice if you want a head that holds up over time without sacrificing sound quality.
