The Remo Emperor Coated Bottom Black Dot is a 14" resonant (bottom) head built for drummers who hit hard. Its 2-ply construction with a reinforcing dot delivers controlled tones, increased attack and greater durability. A tough complement to the batter head on tom or snare.

The head is constructed with 2 plies of 7-mil Coated film and a 5-mil Bottom Black Dot on the underside. The added reinforcement absorbs extra stress from hard hitting, helping the head last longer while keeping the tone controlled and focused even under heavy playing. The Coated surface also adds a slightly warmer, more subdued character compared to a clear bottom head.

As a bottom head, it shapes the drum's overall tone and response without sitting in the way of stick attack. The result is a more controlled tone and clearer attack, especially noticeable when the batter head is thin or sensitive.
