Product Description
Remo DynamOs is a self-adhesive hole template that makes it easy and safe to port (cut a hole in) a bass drum front head. The ring is attached to the head before cutting, and stays in place afterwards as reinforcement around the hole.
Cutting a port hole for a microphone or airflow directly into a front head risks cracking the head. With DynamOs you first stick the self-adhesive ring onto the head, then cut the hole with a sharp knife along the inner edge of the ring. The ring remains on the head afterwards, acting as reinforcement that reduces the risk of cracks forming around the hole edge.
The size listed as 5" is actually 5 1/2". If you buy the pack, you get three sizes: 5, 7 and 9". The product is available in black and white.
