Remo Diplomat Fiberskyn Bass 20″

Product Description

The Remo Diplomat Fiberskyn is a single-ply 20" bass drum head with a Fiberskyn 3 surface, known for its warm, full tone. It offers good resonance and sustain, and performs well with sticks, mallets, and brushes.

The head's surface is made from a single layer of poly-spun fiber 7.5 mil Mylar film, giving it the characteristic warm, full tone the Fiberskyn line is known for. Along with the warmth in tone, the construction contributes to nice resonance and good sustain, without the sound becoming uncontrolled.

Sound Character

F3 Diplomat heads produce a balanced spectrum of sound and are used on both snares and tom-toms, though they're especially valued as bass drum heads. They're considered an industry standard for Jazz and Orchestral applications, where a warm, natural tone is essential.

Playing Feel

The surface works well with multiple playing styles: sticks, mallets, and brushes all provide good grip and even response against the surface, making the head versatile for varied playing.
