16" Remo Diplomat Fiberskyn 3 - Fiberskyn
16" Fiberskyn drum head by Remo. Single-ply 7.5 mil Mylar with warm, full tone and long sustain.
Product Description
The Remo Diplomat Fiberskyn 16" is a single-ply drum head featuring a poly-spun fiber (Fiberskyn 3) surface over 7.5 mil Mylar film. The surface delivers a warm, full tone with rich resonance and sustain, and performs well with sticks, mallets, and brushes alike. A natural choice for snares and tom-toms where a warmer, more acoustic character is wanted.
The Fiberskyn surface is known for its warm, full sound rather than a hard, sharp attack. It produces a balanced spectrum of sound on both snares and tom-toms, and has become something of an industry standard for jazz and orchestral applications where a softer, more acoustic character is preferred.
