Product Description
The Remo Diplomat Fiberskyn 12" is a single-ply drum head made from a 7.5 mil Mylar film with a poly-spun fiber surface, giving it warm, full tones with excellent resonance and sustain. The surface works excellently with sticks, mallets and brushes.
The Fiberskyn 3 Diplomat surface is widely regarded as an industry standard for jazz and orchestral applications, thanks to the balanced spectrum of sound it produces. It's well suited to both toms and snares, and is a popular choice when a softer, more acoustic character is preferred over a standard coated head.
At 12", this head fits a tom. A 12" size is not typically used for snare drums or bass drums.
