Product Description
The Remo Diplomat Fiberskyn 10" is a single-ply drum head with a poly-spun fiber surface that delivers warm, full tones with rich resonance and sustain. The surface works great with sticks, mallets and brushes, and is a long-time favorite for jazz and orchestral applications.
The head is built from a single layer of 7.5 mil Mylar film, giving it the signature Fiberskyn feel: a softer attack and a warmer, rounder tone compared to a standard coated head. The textured surface is especially pleasant to play with brushes, offering good grip and a clear response without becoming harsh or metallic.
As the thinner option in the Fiberskyn range, the Diplomat responds quickly and produces a balanced spectrum of sound across the head. It works well on both toms and snares, delivering a full, open sound that has made it an industry standard for jazz and orchestral settings.
