18" Remo Controlled Sound Clear Top Black Dot - Black Dot
Remo Controlled Sound Clear Black Dot 18" bass drum head. Focused midrange tone with defined attack.
Product Description
The Remo Controlled Sound Clear Top Black Dot 18" is a batter head for bass drum built for focused midrange tones with a well-defined attack. Constructed with a Clear film base and a Black Dot top, it adds durability and controlled overtones while keeping the outer area sensitive and tonally rich.
The head is built from 1-ply of 10-mil Clear film with a 5-mil Top Black Dot layer added on top. The drumhead's outer area offers enhanced tone and sensitivity, while the center Black Dot adds durability and overtone control. This combination gives articulate attack and strong projection along with added durability compared to a single-ply head without reinforcement.
Controlled Sound Clear Top Black Dot heads are available in sizes ranging from 6" to 40", making the series a natural choice across the kit, not just for bass drums.
