ProMark Select Balance Rebound Balance drumsticks are made from premium hickory, built to the tightest matching tolerances on the market. The long, tapered neck shifts the weight balance rearward, giving extra rebound for dynamic, fast playing. Available in five thicknesses from .535" to .595".

Perfectly matched pairs
Each pair is matched to near perfection, with a maximum weight difference of 1.5 g and a maximum pitch difference of a quarter tone step between the two sticks. Good pitch matching is essential for even rolls.
The stick's DNA in the name
ProMark has moved away from the old, imprecise 7A/5A/5B categorisation, since every manufacturer has its own version of these sizes. Instead, the Select Balance series encodes the stick's characteristics, thickness and tip directly into the name. For example, a pair marked FBH535TW denotes Forward Balance (FB), Hickory (H), .535" thickness, with a wood Tear Drop tip (T, W). The stick's full DNA.
Two base models
The Select Balance series comes in two base models with different characteristics: Rebound Balance (this product) has a long (3") tapered neck and extra rebound, suited to dynamic playing. Forward Balance has a shorter neck (2.25") and a more front-heavy balance, giving more power and durability for hi-hat playing.
Available thicknesses
Rebound Balance is available in four thicknesses: .535" (equivalent to 7A), .550" and .565" (equivalent to 5A), and .595" (equivalent to 5B).
Manufacturing and environment
