ProMark Rebound 5B Acorn tip 16"

Product Description

Rebound 5B Acorn tip is a pair of drumsticks in hickory from the Promark Select Balance series, built with a long, tapering neck for extra rebound and a lighter playing feel. The length is 16" with a diameter of 0.595".

Construction

The neck is 3 long and tapering, with the weight balance shifted further back on the stick. This gives extra rebound and a lighter playing feel compared to a straighter neck. The tip is a wood tip of the Acorn type.

Matching

Each pair is pitch-matched with a tolerance of max 6hz, which corresponds to roughly a quarter tone in pitch. The pairs are also weight-matched with a tolerance of max 1.5 grams between the two sticks in the same pair.

Manufacturing

The sticks are produced at the company's own sawmill, with control throughout the process from sawmill to finished product. A drumstick in hickory can take relatively hard hits without losing feel, which is one of the reasons the material is common in drumsticks.
