Tama Ronald Bruner JR. Signature 14x5,5" - Orange Metallic / Matte Black

Product Description

Ronald Bruner Jr.'s signature snare drum from Tama is built around a special wood and metal hybrid shell concept, combining power with sensitivity. The drum is loud and cuts through the mix while remaining extraordinarily responsive, thanks to its unique shell construction.

The inner shell is a 6-ply, 6mm 100% American Black Walnut shell, wrapped in an outer shell of 1.0mm steel. This hybrid construction gives the drum a loud, cutting character with a clear, sensitive snare response, so it stays dynamic and expressive even at lower volumes.

Construction and Finish

The lugs are Starclassic lugs in a Matte Black finish, paired with a die-cast hoop (10 holes) also finished in Black Matte. The strainer and butt are Tama's "Linear Drive" Strainer & Butt (MLS50A / MLS50B) in Matte Black finish, fitted with an MS20RL14C snare wire. The batter head is a Remo Ambassador Coated, with a Remo Hazy head on the snare side. The visually striking lacquered Orange Metallic steel shell combined with the Matte Black hardware reflects the individuality of this signature model.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a snare that cuts through a mix but still responds sensitively at low volumes, whether on stage or in the studio.
