Product Description
A guitar tone expansion for EZmix 3 with 30 tones inspired by classic to modern punk and hardcore. Each tone is individually curated to give you a mix-ready, go-to sound, from gritty 1970s punk to the aggressive hardcore of the 1990s and onwards.
- 30 unique guitar tones
- Predominantly rhythm tones, plus a selection of lead tones
- Created using advanced neural network technology and IRs
- Based on a handpicked selection of real amps, cabinets and pedals
Four Eras of Punk Guitar
The collection covers the gritty sounds reminiscent of classic 1970s-style punk, the semi-distorted tones of 1980s art rock and post-punk, the glossier pop-punk of the 1990s and the aggressive hardcore of the 1990s and onwards. Given the genres, rhythm tones are favored over lead tones, but you will find a few of those in there too.
How the Tones Were Made
Every tone is a ready-to-play capture of a complete studio signal chain: amplifier, cabinet, microphones, mic placement and room ambience. A carefully curated selection of amps was used throughout the capture process, along with multiple cabinet configurations and mics. The result is a set of dynamic, responsive and expressive tones.
Want to fine-tune the details? Every preset includes its own dedicated parameter set, giving you granular control over its core sound-shaping elements.
Who It’s For
A good choice if you produce punk or hardcore in EZmix 3 and want amps pushed to the max, with guitar tones that are ready for the mix from the start.
