• Dual internal fixed snare wires
• Baltic Birch playing surface

Construction and Sound

The resonating body is built from eco-friendly medium density fiberboard, while the frontplate (playing surface) is Baltic Birch (Betula pendula). The vertical, forward-facing subwoofer sound ports replace the traditional rear-facing port and work together with an internal reflex channel that helps develop the sound. The result is a cajon with extra low-end punch and a clear, direct projection toward the listener. The dual, fixed internal snare wires give the characteristic snare buzz on every hit.

Amplification

When more volume is needed, a Piezo pickup is built into the cajon, with volume and tone control accessible on the outside. A quarter inch (1/4") cable port lets you send the signal straight into any amp or PA system, making this cajon just as usable acoustically at home as amplified on stage.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want to go from acoustic playing in the rehearsal room to plugging straight into a PA at a gig, without switching instruments or rigging extra microphones.
