ProMark SPYR SU5R Mallet Xylofon - Natural
SPYR xylophone mallet from ProMark, rattan handle and Hytrel® tip, medium hardness. Full tone from both synthetic and natural bars.
Product Description
The SPYR SU5R is a xylophone mallet from ProMark with a rattan handle and a Hytrel® tip, hardness 5 (medium). The mallet head is slightly larger than most traditional xylo mallets, giving a full tone from both synthetic and natural bars. A great choice for pieces like Appalachian Spring by Copland or other ensemble playing.
SPYR is a collaboration between ProMark and world-renowned percussionists, designers and educators Kevin Shah and Tony Nunez. Designed with the educator in mind, the series covers the complete spectrum of sounds required on keyboard instruments across the variety of ensembles and performances educators lead, so there's no need for multiple mallet lines to outfit different ensembles.
